About Me

As we navigate our new normal, I watch the struggle of individuals, families and communities around me. I am keenly aware that we are barely meeting the basic needs of our children and it devastates me. I know that young people are watching the news while we all sit quietly.

I refuse to stay silent.

As a former high school teacher in Beaverton schools, I know our youth are struggling with food and housing insecurity along with mental health struggles. I’ve watched my kids battle a sense of loss when schools closed. Our communities need us to step up and be their voices.

As a human resource and marketing professional having worked at Fortune 100 companies like Nike, Fred Meyer and Warner Bros, I understand how to create and enhance systems to meet people’s needs.

I know that as Beaverton grows, there is a need for fresh perspectives and representation. I am confident my public and private sector experiences provide insight into what it takes to elevate and amplify underrepresented voices.

I live in the Five Oaks-Triple Creek neighborhood with my husband and three kids and I am excited to work for you as your City Councilor because I believe we are better together.

I promise to fight for a more inclusive Beaverton that represents us all.
